Arizona Tile Opens New Distribution Center
TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona Tile recently opened its new Quartz Distribution Center here, adding to the company’s distribution facilities.
The new center offers 120,000 ft² devoted to product handling and a variety of corporate offices, as well as space for trade-show setup, sample-board production and bulk stock of porcelain tile.
The new facility and its adjacent Slab Outlet, plus the existing operations in Tempe, encompass a total of 22 acres.
The new location now provides the means for entire departments to be in close proximity to one another, facilitating a better sense of unity and collaboration. Modern, functional workspaces support productive employees in comfortable spaces.
The new Tempe center highlights the growing list of Arizona Tile’s distribution facilities, including an 80,000 ft² quartz and tile warehouse in Jurupa Springs, Calif., and a 150,000 ft² facility in La Porte, Texas. The La Porte operations offers the capacity to store 70,000 slabs and 2.5 million ft² of tile, as well as 150,000 ft² of outdoor storage.
Founded in 1977 in San Diego, Arizona Tile has grown into a commercial and residential distributor with 27 locations in eight Western U.S.states. Arizona Tile imports more than 300 varieties of granite, marble, quartzite, limestone and travertine slabs and tile; 60+ colors of Della Terra® Quartz; and more than 60 series of porcelain, ceramic and glass tile.
Founded by John Huarte, the 1964 Heisman Trophy winner and professional football quarterback for 10 seasons, the company is still family-owned after more than 40 years.
