AG&M, Pental Surfaces Merge

AUSTIN, Texas & SEATTLE, Wash. – Architectural Granite & Marble (AG&M) and Pental Surfaces announced a merger of the two companies today.

250 agmpentalThe merger creates a leading distributor of interior surfaces including natural stone, quartz surfaces and tile, with 13 locations across the United States. Both companies will continue to operate under their established brand names.

The combination, noted company officials, benefits from the tenured relationships and the strength of AG&M, Pental and Modul Marble & Granite, the Sun Valley, Calif.-based stone importer acquired by AG&M last July.

AG&M operates facilities in Austin, Charlotte, Nashville, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Raleigh, N.C., and Anaheim, Calif., along with Modul in Sun Valley. Pental locations are in Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, Portland, Ore., and Fife, Wash.
