Hardscape N.A. Draws 27,000
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – More than 27,000 registered attendees from all 50 states and 46 countries came together last month here for Hardscape North America and the concurrent Equip Exposition.
The record-breaking event on Oct. 18-20 at the Kentucky Exposition Center included more than 1,000 exhibitors total, with 207 hardscape-related vendors accounting for 56,850 ft² indoors and a 42,000 ft² Hardscape House outdoors.

New on the education lineup were two sessions on natural stone, hosted by the Natural Stone Institute.
Also, 929 attendees upgraded their registration to include six Hardscape Demoson the latest installation techniques led by Local Roots Landscaping, and 410 contractors and dealers purchased a VIP Pass, which gave them access to all 10 of the education sessions, the Hardscape Demos and two hardscape workshops for up to a 50% discount.
With more than $28,000 in prizes on the line, competition was fierce at the annual HNA Installer Championship in the Hardscape House. A dozen teams competed in the preliminary rounds, with the top four advancing to the final competition on Friday. (Each team was sponsored by a hardscape industry organization.)
