Dimension Stone Design Manual Updated

OBERLIN, Ohio — The latest update to the Natural Stone Institute’s Dimension Stone Design Manual is now available.

Dimension Stone Design Manual 2022is a key reference for commercial installers, fabricators, design professionals, and suppliers. It includes major revisions to the installation chapters. Chapters 13 and 14 now focus on horizontal and vertical installations, respectively.

New graphics explain coursed ashlar, split-face stone, and dry-stack detailing. Expanded anchorage graphics showcase additional anchor types currently in use.

Graphics have also been updated to include continuous insulation components and thermal separations where necessary. All new graphics are compliant with ASHRAE codes.
