IPS Adhesives Boosts Exec Team

DURHAM, N.C. – IPS Adhesives (IPSA) brings experience to the table early in 2022 with hires for the North American and European markets.

Anne Hultgren joins IPSA as vice president of sales & marketing, focusing on IPSA’s global sales and marketing strategy. She will oversee the North American sales team and manufacturers’ representatives in the United States.

Hultgren brings over 20 years of experience to the job. She worked most recentl, as Director, Masco Operating System at Masco Corp., where she was responsible for driving commercial excellence and growth in 13 business units and corporate headquarters. She also worked in marketing and sales leadership roles at Ingersoll Rand and United Technologies.

“Anne’s extensive experience will play a pivotal role as we continue to execute our growth strategy,” said Scott McDowell, IPS Adhesives president. “She will be vital to helping us turn that strategy into successful business and financial results.”

IPSA also brings in Philippe Belot as managing director of IPSA Europe. He’ll have the overall responsibility of improving IPSA Europe operations while enhancing consistency and alignment with the company’s broader business growth strategy.

Belot’s 25+ years of management and leadership achievements in specialty formulated polymer businesses from his previous roles at Trinseo/Styron, Dow Chemical and Gurit-Essex.

“Philippe has developed a large industry network across the globe, especially in the European countries,” McDowell said. “His vast experience with adhesives, sealants and engineering thermoplastics—particularly in the Transportation, Consumer Electronics, Medical, and other markets will help provide a great path forward for IPSA Europe.”

Currently based in Switzerland, Belot will relocate to IPSA’s European headquarters In Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K.
