Tennessee Fabricator Announces Major Expansion
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Anatolia Granite and Marble Corp. will create 40 new jobs in Baxter, Tenn., as part of a $567,000 expansion.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R), Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Anatolia officials announced the action on Nov. 30.
“When a company expands in our state, it is a testament to the strength and skill of our workforce,” said Gov. Lee. “I thank Anatolia for their continued investment in Tennessee and for creating high-quality manufacturing jobs in the Baxter community.”
Anatolia fabricates countertops and other hard-surfaces products using CNC production centers.
“We are excited to expand Anatolia Granite’s operations in Baxter,” said Temel Islamoglu, Anatolia president, “and realize that this expansion would not be possible without the leadership at the state of Tennessee and locally in Baxter and Putnam County. We have found a great community in the Upper Cumberland and look forward to continued partnerships and our company’s future growth.”
Over the last five years, TNECD has supported 10 economic development projects in Putnam County, resulting in approximately 1,500 job commitments and $220 million in capital investment.
