SFA to Hold Late October Workshop
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Stone Fabricators Alliance will host a workshop at Carved in Stone here on Oct. 28 and 29.
Hosted by Carved in Stone owners Nick and Bobbi Price, the event begins on the morning of Oct. 28 with guest speaker Casey Brown and is followed that afternoon and evening at the shop where equipment and software will be demonstrated from GMM, Comandulli and Slabsmith, along with three Northwood Machinery CNCs.
The following day will be highlighted with the Prices hosting a round-table discussion on how Carved in Stone operates, followed by presentations on fabrication techniques.
A special group rate of $129 per night is being offered by the Courtyard Jefferson City at 610 Bolivar St. in downtown Jefferson City. The link to booking the rooms at the discount rate is here.
Lambert International Airport in St. Louis is approximately two-and-one-half hours’ drive from Jefferson City. Limited air service is available a half-hour away at Columbia Regional Airport.
The event Is being held in lieu of the postponed SFA event next month in Puerto Rico.
