NKBA Hall of Fame Seeks Noms
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — The National Kitchen & Bath Associationis accepting nominations through Oct. 30 for 2021 inductees to the Kitchen and Bath Hall of Fame.
Nominees are not limited to NKBA members, but nominations must be made by members of the industry group. Nominations must be submitted online on NKBA.org.
Honorees are recognized for significant contributions to the development of the kitchen and bath industry. Each selection is based on merit of the nominee, not by the number of nominations. All nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee.
“The Kitchen & Bath Hall of Fame is a Who’s Who of the K&B design and construction industry,” said Bill Darcy, NKBA’s CEP. “They are visionaries, inventors, designers and educators. There are many people in our industry who fit this profile and are deserving of being recognized.
“We encourage our members to help shine a spotlight on these remarkable individuals by nominating a colleague.”
The NKBA created the Kitchen & Bath Hall of Fame in 1989 and over the last three decades has inducted more than 90 individuals. In 2020, Dr. Kathleen Parrott, a longtime educator at Virginia Tech and founding faculty member of the university’s Center for Real Life Design, became the latest member.
All inductees of the Kitchen & Bath Hall of Fame are featured in a special gallery at the NKBA’s New Jersey headquarters.
New inductees will be recognized during the NKBA Kitchen & Bath Design + Industry Awards on Feb. 8, as part of the 2021 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS).
