CupaClad® Gets Chicago Distributor

PALOS HILLS, Ill. — IBC Advanced Cladding, division of Illinois Brick Company, is the new distributor in the Chicago metroplex for CupaClad®, a natural-slate-rainscreen cladding system that recently entered the North American marketplace.

CupaClad® materials are chosen from 16 Spanish quarries of the firm’s parent company, Cupa Pizarras, based in Sobradelo de Valdeorras, Spain. An exacting quality control program ensures that CupaClad® technical properties will ensure exceptional façade performance in any location of the world.   

CupaClad and other slate products are offered in the United States through the company’s U.S. facility in Hackensack, N.J.
