Rich Katzmann New Laser Products President
ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Laser Products Industries (LPI) promotes Rich Katzmann to president, reporting to company owner/CEO Dan Louis.
Since joining Laser Products almost one year ago as the vice president of sales and marketing, Katzmann led the company into record growth, expanded its sales force, and entered new markets – including the recently announced partnership with Slabsmith.
Trained as a nuclear engineer, Katzmann changed careers to co-own and manage several highly successful start-up companies.
The company also adds Brian Hall, as a software developer, reporting to Erik Louis, vice president of engineering. Hall most recently worked at Coilcraft Inc. and brings 14 years of software development experience to his new position.
“The recent growth of Laser Products has been very exciting to see,” said Louis. “The skill, energy, and excitement that Rich has brought to LPI has been astonishing. Because of his efforts, we now have a solid strategic plan that will include new products, new markets, and new ventures that will be introduced over the next few years.
“Hiring Brian to be a key member of our product engineering group is an important step towards the realization of some of those goals.
