MATERIAL: Slab-sheet Porcelain
Emser Tile LLC, Los Angeles, introduces Expanse™, a new large-scale porcelain panel to give an elegant look to continuous surfaces for commercial and residential interior and exterior applications.
•Offered in panel sizes up to 118” X 59” that are only 6 mm thick, Expanse™ is suitable for many applications, including large-scale spaces, curved areas, backlit surfaces, and floors, all with the added benefit of fewer grout lines and the ability to create mitered corners.
The flexibility of Expanse™ technology, along with its 20 colors and patterns, allows for endless design opportunities for walls, floors, stairs, partitions, countertops, vanities, and exterior facades. The technology creates a reduced thickness, full-body, lightweight panel without fiberglass back netting.
Expanse™ large porcelain panels offer many advantages, including: aesthetics, flexibility, washable, stain resistant, non-absorbent, solid surface, heat proof, frost proof, mold resistant, energy efficient, no VOC’s and no artificial binders.
“The lightweight, large scale panels and extensive array of colors and patterns enable designers to create a unique experience,” said Brian Grenfell, Emser vice president of commercial segment. “Expanse™ is another great addition to Emser’s growing portfolio of innovative tile and natural stone products.”
