Click photo for gallery• Alpha Professional Tools®, Oakland, N.J., introduces the Type CD Ecoguard for containing waste when core-drilling stone and other hard surfaces. This new wet/dry shroud can control both dust and water when drilling with up to a 2-1/2” diameter core bit.

The Ecoguard CD’s simple-but-effective design uses the suction from a portable shop vacuum to keep the shroud securely. The shroud attachment fits most vacuum dust hoses, and prevents splashing when using water while drilling. It eliminates the spread of waste materials, which is especially needed when making fixture holes and other adjustments on-site at a business or residential installation.
