Pacific Shore Stones Opens Greenville, S.C. Location

AUSTIN, Texas — Pacific Shore Stones expanded its nationwide operations to open its 15th location in Greenville, S.C.

The importer/wholesaler of natural stone entered the South Carolina region in September 2013 with the acquisition of a location in Charleston.

The 10,000 ft² Greenville warehouse is a new, custom-built facility providing a light and modern space for viewing the stone collection. The warehouse will carry a full range of inventory, including granite, marble, travertine, soapstone, onyx, quartzite and quartz, with a large selection of white exotics to keep up with demand for this trend.

Allen Morris will be leading the new team in Greenville. With over 13 years of experience in the granite trade, Morris has been a member of the Pacific Shore Stones team since 2007.

 “We’re very excited about the opportunity this new market presents,” said Vinny Tavares, Pacific Shore Stones operating partner. “The location allows us to serve the local areas of Greer and Greenville, plus opening up our distribution capabilities to include Charlotte, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Spartanburg and Atlanta.”

The opening of the new location continues a strong pattern of growth for Pacific Shore Stones, which was ranked on the 2014 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in North America, with a three-year sales growth rate of 135%.

Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the company also has distribution centers in Arroyo Grande, Calif;  Bakersfield, Calif.; Birmingham, Ala.; Charleston; Fresno, Calif.; Greenville; Little Rock, Ark; Los Angeles; Memphis; Oklahoma City; Oxnard, Calif.; San Antonio; Springdale, Ark.; and Tulsa, Okla.
