Artisan Group™ Raises $32K for “Homes for Our Troops”

AUSTIN, Texas –Artisan Group countertop fabricators brought in $32,000 to aid construction of homes for injured veterans in a nationwide collection of stone “yard sales” this fall.

The “Counters For A Cause” campaign raised funds for Homes for Our Troops, a non-profit group committed to building specially-adapted homes to meet veterans’ needs.

Click photo to enlargeArtisan Group Executive Director Chad Seiders recently presented a check to Marine Corporal Neil Frustaglio, a Homes For Our Troops spokesperson and soldier who recently received a home from the organization.

“These soldiers have given their blood, sweat, tears and in some cases part of themselves to defend our rights and freedoms in this country,” Seiders says. “It is a privilege to give something back to them.”

In the series of sales in September and October, homeowners purchased stone remnants and slabs at discounted prices from Artisan Group members.
