Salem Stone, OMAG End Partnership

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Salem Stone and OMAG have mutually agreed to dissolve their agent-manufacturer partnership. Since 2006, Salem has represented OMAG CNC work centers throughout North America as part of their comprehensive line of stone-fabricating equipment.

OMAG, a Zanica, Italy-based equipment manufacturing company, made the decision to expand their line of 4 and 5-axes CNC work centers to include multi-axes bridge saws.  OMAG’s addition of bridge saws created a competitive conflict with Salem’s existing bridge-saw representation.

OMAG’s vision of their future and Salem’s commitment to existing partnerships has led them to this conclusion. Both companies wish each other well.
