M S International to Open Washington-area Center
DULLES, Va. – M S International Inc. (MSI) recently broke ground here for a state-of-the-art showroom/distribution center for the Washington-area market.
Set for completion this spring, the 60,000 ft² facility will be the 15th for the Orange, Ca.-based importer/distributor – and the first built from the ground up.
Click photo to enlargeThe new facility will include a 5,000 ft² flooring and wall-tile showroom, as well as a 15,000 ft² slab selection showroom. The center will stock more than 400 colors of granite, marble, quartz, porcelain and related products.
“Our new distribution center in Dulles will allow us to better service our customers in the Virginia / D.C. market,” said Rupesh Shah, MSI co-president, “by providing a convenient facility for customers to view the breadth and depth of MSI’s entire product offering, with immediate inventory availability. We look forward to a successful completion of construction and our grand opening.”
The new facility will be located at 44770 Old Ox Road in Dulles.
Founded in 1975, MSI is a leading North American distributor of flooring, countertop, wall-tile and landscaping products, including granite, marble, travertine, slate, limestone and other natural stone products imported from more than 36 countries on six continents. The company imports more than 20,000 containers per year of stone, ceramic tile and other products, and maintains an inventory of more than 50 million ft².
