Dahnke New MIA Education Manager
CLEVELAND – Aaron Dahnke is the new education manager for the Marble Institute of America.
Dahnke, previously the manager of education and partnerships with the Center for Nonprofit Advancement in Washington, fills the position vacated by Jim Hieb when became the group’s executive vice president and CEO this month.
Dahnke will oversee the MIA’s Regional Education Program and assist the group’s Safety Committee in developing a turnkey manual and more online programs. He’ll also launch the Chapter Development pilot program.
A native of Sandusky, Ohio, Dahnke brings nine years of non-profit management experience to the MIA. Dahnke holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Ohio University, as well as a Certificate in Fundraising and Development from the University of Richmond.
“We asked Aaron to join our team primarily because of his association experience and understanding of education/curriculum development,” Hieb said. “We are excited to have Aaron join the team just prior to StonExpo, so he can meet face-to-face many of the industry leaders he will be working with to advance the stone industry’s education program.”
