Since co-founding ALS Stones in 2019, Correia helped drive the company’s strategy and international growth, while remaining close to what matters most to her: people, challenges, and relationships.
Direct and approachable, Correia believes in honest conversations, shared knowledge, and continuous learning. She is passionate about sustainability, education, and strengthening collaboration across markets and generations.
Correia is actively involved with the Natural Stone Institute and other international industry organizations. She believes the future of natural stone depends on how the industry evolves together.
Through her international experience and practical industry knowledge, Correia is committed to listening, connecting people, and sharing ideas as part of her service in the global role on the NSI Board.
Peter Dominguez is president of California Surfaces in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. He joined the family-owned company ten years ago and has led it since 2022, overseeing stone fabrication and installation for production home, commercial, multifamily, and custom residential projects throughout Southern California.
Dominguez advocated for stone fabricators before the Cal/OSHA Standards Board and testified before the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Trade Representative in Washington, D.C., on natural- and engineered-stone imports. He spoke on the silica safety panel at the 2024 NSI/Stone World California Stone Summit.
Dominguez also supported the Natural Stone Institute’s partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. program, donating natural-stone fabrication and installation services for a home built for a veteran and his family.
Through his industry advocacy and involvement, Dominguez brings practical fabrication experience and a commitment to supporting the natural stone industry. He is a 2026 nominee for Stone World’s Fabricator of the Year.
