Breton Names Van Der Bas as New N.A. Sales Manager
TREVISO, Italy – Gerry Van Der Bas is the new Breton S.p.a. national sales manger for the United States and Canada.
Van Der Bas replaces Michele Ballarin, who is accepting a directorship within the Breton family of companies.
Van Der Bas, in Breton sales since 2003, will be responsible for spearheading Breton’s sales and marketing activities for all of the United States and Canada.
As the U.S. East Coast sales specialist for Breton, Van Der Bas worked closely with Ballarin, focusing on scalable solutions for fabricators, and was instrumental in the U.S. market research and configuration/development of Breton’s initial release of Fabcenter products in response to the all-in-one machine trend.
Van Der Bas has been active in several industry related web forums and trade associations, and recently worked on the Marble Institute of America’s industry glossary committee.
Van Der Bas brings 15 years of CNC-machinery sales experience to his new position, including the last eight with the Breton organization. He’s a native of Fountainville, Pa., where he resides with his wife Rachel and his three children.
Breton SpA is a world leader in stone-processing and -fabrication equipment. Breton USA operates two U.S. technical support offices in Sarasota, Fla., and Detroit.
