Marmomacc Easing Flights and Arrival
VERONA, Italy – Flying to the Marmomacc here this September will be easier, thanks to some cooperation by the event producers, an airport and an airline.
A collaboration agreement signed by Veronafiere, Verona Airport and Lufthansa offer a way to fly for less and eliminate destination transfer hassles for exhibitors and operators at this year’s addition of the mammoth trade event on Sept. 26-29.
With tickets purchased through event’s official website, Lufthansa will ensure discount fares for direct connections to Verona through its Munich hub (operated by Air Dolomiti), its Frankfurt hub, and Lufthansa Group/Star Alliance flights with Verona as the final destination.
Verona’s Valerio Catullo Airport will also provide a luggage drop-off service from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sept. 26-28 for fares booked through the Marmomacc website. Airport staff will collect bags at the Arrivals Terminal for delivery to the hotel indicated at no extra charge. A dedicated reception desk will also be available in the Arrivals Terminal.
During the four days of the event, Verona Airport will be on hand at the show with two offices located in the “Arena” gallery between halls 6 and 7 to provide maximum assistance to operators visiting Marmomacc. Web check-in services will also be available in the “Delle Erbe” gallery between halls 4 and 5 during the event.
