ISFA, Artisan Group Form Alliance
INGOMAR, Pa. – The International Surface Fabricator Association (ISFA) and the Artisan Group have officially joined forces in a new strategic alliance aimed at protecting fabricators, growing the workforce, and strengthening the long-term future of the industry.

The alliance is part of the ISFA Fabricator Safety Initiative (FSI), a nationwide effort launched in 2024 to unify fabricators, manufacturers and industry partners around safer shops, stronger training and common-sense standards to support good businesses doing the right thing.
The ISFA-Artisan Group partnership marks the first of what are expected to be many formal alliances designed to bring structure, leadership and alignment to the industry.
As part of the partnership, the Artisan Group will support ISFA in building a trusted, structured platform that advances safety, education, leadership and industry representation, while improving the value members receive.
Strategic objectives of the alliance include:
- Elevate shop-level safety and risk-reduction practices.
- Strengthen the future workforce pipeline.
- Expand peer-to-peer mentorship and leadership development.
- Build consensus-driven industry standards and advocacy.
- Grow professional networks across the fabrication community.
“The alliance with the Artisan Group is the first of many intentional steps,” said ISFA President Ted Sherritt, “toward building a strong, aligned and sustainable future for every countertop and surface fabricator in North America.”
Artisan Group President Matt Neiger stated that the challenges facing the industry are too complex for one organization to address alone.
“Through our partnership with ISFA, our members will gain expanded resources, stronger training opportunities, and greater collective support for the work they do every day,” Neiger noted.
