CS Unitec Inc., Norwalk, Conn.. offers the Trelawny™ MHS5 Concrete Floor Scabbler line for quick concrete removal. Five piston heads supply 6,500 total blows per minute and provide a cutting width of 11”. The MHS5 includes an integrated dust shroud and vacuum port to reduce hazardous dust and maintain worksite cleanliness when connected to a dust collection vacuum. MHS5 Model 159.5050 is equipped with 5-point bush hammer heads for keying concrete and removing laitance without damaging the substrate below; Model 159.5075 employs 9-point bush hammer heads for creating excellent bond profiles for epoxies, urethanes and thin overlays. ETemplate Systems, Raleigh, N.C., now offers a new data link from its ELaser self-leveling 3D laser measurement system into Vero Software’s Cabinet Vision program to define walls, doors, windows, outlets, and other features. ELaser’s full 3D, 160’ radius measuring can download data to Cabinet Vision solid, using the latter software’s native ORD file format. Cabinet Vision can then create a floor plan, noting as-built conditions on the level of surfaces and wall plumb to increase accuracy.

MINI WATERJET NOZZLE
OMAX Corp., Kent, Wash., introduces the Mini Tilt-A-Jet® cutting head for its MicroMAX JetMachining Center. The waterjet accessory nearly quadruples the position accuracy of the nozzle, enabling the machine to achieve virtually zero taper with most materials up to 3" in thickness. It’s also 25% smaller and lighter than the standard Tilt-A-Jet designed for OMAX’s other machine models, and is nearly twice as rigid for less deflection. The Tilt-A-Jet for the MicroMAX employs 10° tilt, and is fully sealed for use in the abrasive waterjet environment.
