Park Digital Stoneworking Expo™ Heads East
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Park Industries® will go east this summer to the Nation’s Capital area for its next Digital Stoneworking Expo™.
The manufacturer of stone CNC machinery will present the June 26-27 event in Herndon, Va., near Washington’s Dulles International Airport, with a combination of presentations, networking, and tour of a nearby digital fabrication shop.
The schedule also includes an optional certification session on silica and slab safety by the Natural Stone Institute (NSI).
The fabricator host is Richstone Surfaces, located in Chantilly, Va. Richstone is celebrating the grand opening of its new 25,000 ft² facility this May, and will demonstrate Park CNC equipment, including the first production JAVELIN™ CNC Sawjet.
Richland’s Sofia Dolan and Steven Bates will present “A Brand New Shop – Making the Change from Manual to Digital” on June 27, followed by a full shop tour.
Fabricator Tarek Merhebi of the The Granite and Marble Depot in Aurora, Ill., will also present “Developing a Shop for Success” during the event.
The expo will also feature interactive breakout sessions and a roundtable Q&A on June 27. A welcoming reception will be held on the evening of June 26.
Aside from the shop tour, all sessions will be held at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport in Herndon. The hotel is less than three miles away from the airport terminal..
